Start Posting Your Recipes Online

Start posting all your favourite recipes online by simply creating an account free of charge, then just log-in and start posting recipes straight onto the website. Alternatively, you can go to the contact us page and send us your recipes or email us at post@recipeexchange.co.za , we will post it on to the website for you.
We have put just a few recipes on the website at this point, but with all our viewers adding their recipes, we will soon have a collection of many delicious recipes.
You can also add comments to recipes. Log-in, find a recipe you just tried and tell us what you think about it or give us some tips on your experience.

BUTTERNUT FANCIES

Butternut fancies                      

  • 1/2 pound rama or butter.            
  • 3/4 cup castor sugar.                  
  • 1cup coconut.                             
  • 1/2 cup pecan nuts.                  
  • 1/2 cup crushed rice krispies.     
  • Flour.                                         

Make into dough ,roll into shapes of ur choice ,I used S shaped cutter .bake at 180, till brown then once cool. Dip in white choc and drizzle brown on top .

CUSTARD COCONUT COOKIES

Custard Coconut Cookies                                   

  • 250g butter or marg.            
  • 3/4 cup sugar.                        
  • Beat till light n fluffy add.          
  • 2 eggs.     Beat then add.          
  • 3 tbsp oil.    Beat add.                
  • 3 cups coconut.                         
  • 2 tsp baking powder.                 
  • 2 tsp caramel essence.        
  • 3 tbsp custard powder.

Beat then lastly add.               

Flour as needed.                 

Roll out and scrape with the fork cut in shapes n bake in preheated oven at 180 till done you can sprinke hundred thousand befor baking

PECAN PIE

Pecan Pie

Base:

  • 200g butter
  • 2 1/2 cups flour
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • Pinch of salt
  • Vanilla essence
  • 1egg

Rub butter into dry ings.add vanilla n egg.wrap in cling n place in fridge for 1/2 an hour.roll out n line 2 greased pie dishes/pans.prick wid fork.

(U can make dough in processor)

Filling:

  • 120g butter
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1cup golden syrup
  • 1Tblsp lemon juice
  • 4eggs-beaten
  • 200g pecan nuts
  • Pinch of salt

Melt butter n sugar.add golden syrup n allow to bubble.add lemon juice n salt.cook well to disslove sugar.cool.add eggs while mixing well.stir in nits/lay nuts on base n pour filling in.bake @ 180 for ± 30mins till golden.

MILKY BAR SQUARES

Milky Bar Squares

  • 250g butter.                                 
  • 3/4 cup castor sugar.                     
  • 1/4 cup oil.                                             
  • 1 egg beaten.                                    
  • 1 tsp vanilla.                                   
  • 1 tsp b.pow.                                   
  • 2 cups flour.                                   

Cream butter n sugar,add oil n beat,add egg n beat wid vanilla,press in2 bakn pan,bake 180.20min..wen hot pour meltd milkybar ova n smooth.top wid roastd coconut n cut squares

NUTELLA CHOC-CHIP COOKIES

Nutella Choc-Chip CookiesNUTELLA CHOC-CHIP_COOKIES
Quite a chocolatey taste, and overall very easy to make.
Hawa suggests using a tea-spoon to drop dough onto a tray, I simple shaped into round balls, the dough is very pliable and makes for neat cookies if hand-shaped. Also, leave in for about 12mins,
and allow to cool and crispen on baking tray before packing away. I got 65 out of this recipe!
